Trading while earning you plat, deducts from another player. And that is the only thing they gate with plat, cosmetics aside. Playing with different warframes and weapons make you run the same content but on a different gameplay, this is the only longevity of the game.
The content is repetitive, that is a fact. I dont have any concerns spending money on a F2P game, provided it is worth the spend.
